We’ve also spent a considerable amount of time contemplating, and then tasting, the wide selection of food that we will be making available to delegates on the day. There are some sacrifices that one just has to make!

Guinness cake has been replaced by stout from the local Mount Brewing company. The kiwifruit will have been freshly picked from the orchards that surround the conference venue. For those wanting to taste pea protein-based ‘chicken’, it’s on the lunchtime menu. Shama Lee, Sunfed Meats founder, has gone one step further. Visit the Expo area and taste some of the product as it is freshly cooked by her team of chefs.

At the evening Networking Reception, there is a smorgasbord of fine canopes to test the taste buds. All local produce, all made with love.

We believe that as we are hosting Techweek’s headline agritech event, New Zealand food produce had to be one of the true heroes of the day. It’s an integral part of the ’10 billion mouths’ conference experience.
