Wharf42 & our Singapore-based partners, AgriFood Futures, were delighted to host the inaugural Asia Biological Symposium.
Held during Singapore International AgriFood Week in November, the Symposium attracted stakeholders from across ASEAN. We were particularly pleased to be joined by a large delegation from CSIRO, who were hosting a biosecurity workshop at the same venue.
During the Symposium, we announced the formation of the Asia Biological Platform. This was designed to provide a roadmap for increased collaboration across the region. Post-the Symposium, the plan is to nominate members of a Working Group to support the development of the roadmap.
.Given the success of this inaugural (sold out) event, the plan is to host a second Asia Biological Summit in 2026
